These non-academic needs are often neglected with international students, whose time zones and cultural differences separate them from students who are largely based in the US. A responsible model of online learning for gifted international students must be holistic in nature, with students’ academic, social, emotional, cultural, and ethical needs integrated into the curriculum. The presenter will offer a framework for holistic online learning for international students, including recommendations for grouping, scheduling, and support services.”
