Student Services

The Davidson Academy Online’s Student Services Team (SST) – comprised of our school counselors and staff – works closely with the students, faculty, and families to assist with creating and monitoring each student’s Academic Plan. The team is available to provide assistance with educational issues or other concerns that may arise. With a wide variety of educational backgrounds and experience, the Support Services Team is able to offer many different perspectives and solutions in advising our students. We are fortunate to work with passionate professionals who absolutely love what they do, and continue to grow and learn more about the students they work with. Our Student Services Team offers a wide variety of support services including:

  • Regular meetings with the student’s school counselor
  • Individualized support based on a student’s strengths and areas of growth
  • Peer-based groupings in advising (Oracle)
  • Academic advising and planning
  • College and career advising
  • Faculty supervised peer–to–peer tutoring from our Writing Center, STEM Mentors, and Spanish Tutors
  • Direct and personalized feedback from instructors
