Davidson Academy Online student Gary Leschinsky has been named a 2026 recipient of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program, one of the most prestigious achievement-based scholarships in the United States.
Gary is among just 150 high school seniors nationwide selected from a pool of more than 107,000 applicants. This year, less than 1/7 of 1% of applicants were selected for this extremely competitive award. Coke Scholars are chosen based on academic excellence, leadership, and service to their school and community.
A Coca-Cola Scholar not only exemplifies superior leadership, service, and academics, they are change agents, positively affecting others in their community.
As a Coke Scholar, Gary will receive:
- A trip to Atlanta for Coke Scholars Weekend April 23-26 that will include the Scholars Banquet and Leadership Development Institute
- A new community of 7,200 Coke Scholars and alumni
- Access to lifelong learning opportunities and experiences uniquely designed for Coke Scholars
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is administered by the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, a joint effort of Coca-Cola bottlers across the country and The Coca-Cola Company. Over the past 38 years, the Foundation has awarded more than $90 million in scholarships to over 7,200 students nationwide.
