Ashley Ingle lives in Kansas City, Missouri and has been an English instructor for over a decade. She enjoys creating lessons that focus on real-world application, creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving.
Ashley has worked with students since she was young herself. She spent her teens and early 20s as a youth leader, camp counselor, volunteer coordinator, tutor, and substitute teacher. In 2012, she earned her B.S in Secondary Education from the University of Nevada, Reno and holds a Nevada teaching license. She began her professional teaching career at an International Baccalaureate program in Washoe County. She transitioned to teaching at Davidson Academy on the UNR campus for four years before transferring to Davidson Academy Online in 2021.
She has designed multiple English courses as well as taught at the college level. She also dabbles as a freelance writer; her contributions can be found in a variety of publications. In 2020, she earned her Masters degree in English to further her knowledge of the subject she teaches. While she enjoyed being a student and writing 20-page research papers, she’s happy to have her free time back so she can bike, hike, bake, read, write, and spend time with her husband.
