Intermediate Spanish
Course Overview
During this course, students will gain intermediate communication skills in Spanish. They will learn vocabulary that will provide them with a wider range of topics of conversation and will integrate more complex grammatical structures and Spanish tenses. The students will continue working on communicative and meaningful activities which will improve their abilities to engage as they work to acquire an intermediate level in Spanish. The students will work towards writing compositions, and the class will have a greater emphasis on communicating solely in Spanish. They will continue to be exposed to aural stimuli, will engage in written and collaborative exercises, and will work on more elaborate cultural presentations. They will continue the cultural exchanges with students from another Spanish-speaking country, and will discuss and compare national and cultural topics with them.
