Dr. Jessica Potts, Curriculum Coordinator at Davidson Academy Online (pictured second from right), was a keynote speaker at this year’s International European Council for High Ability (ECHA) Conference in Dublin. The keynote session, “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: What Every Educator Should Know About Engaging Gifted Families,” explored the often-complex relationship between families and schools through research, anecdotes, and humor. Attendees gained practical, research-based strategies for building stronger parent-educator partnerships that better support high-ability children.
